This video was very well thought out that it made a great impact. I agree with what the narrator is saying about people being to connected to their phones and social media that they miss out on small things that may lead to larger things, i also agree that it would create a more freindly world where people are asking for help without the fear of looking insane. Although the video gives a very positive message i somewhat disagree with the showing of leaving your phone behind becase it may be a distraction it allowes people to talk with others about actual important things, get directions, call for help, make a reservation. There are plenty of advantages to taking your phone out as there are disadvantages, it just depends on what side you are looking at when deciding wether or not to take your phone out.

From my research i have found that splash pages are usually a graphic of somekind to welcome users to thier site, It always the user to choose what browser and what options they would life before entering the entire site. They are fast loading and display infomation quickly without having to scroll. It alwoys users to choose what they want before entering a site. Could also allow them to setup an account right from the splash page.

From the start of the website i have been trying to add lot of content and i think that it is working against me, in all honesty. i will NOT be done by the end of the hour tomorrow and i think that a BLOCK daywould help me catch up and finish my website. I have now learned how much content to put in to maximize my time.

Welcome back! How was your Spring Break? Tell me all about it. You've been out of school for 10 days so I know you will have plenty to share. Make it good! Well over my spring break i did not go anywhereunfortunately, i mostly just slept and watched alot of Netflix. For the first 4 days i watched the first 2 seasons of breaking bad again and also watched Walking Dead on both Sundays. We had planned on going to either the Bahamas or Arizona but we decided not too. Overall i had a pretty layed back spring break and that's actually how i like it :). Oh and another thing i did was make a template for my fourth quarter planning.

I do indded like the layout of this project, sadly this project sounds really fun to build and i feel that the amount of time that we are able to work is too short, from my understanding. Considering i would like to make this website very unique, i just wish i could have more time to work. The brainstorming sheet has been helpful because it allows me to jot down my ideas on the-go.

As of right now i am caught up with everything, i stay caught up by just working in class and staying on task. Many other people are on their phones and are not working 100%, but i am. I try to get a little bit more than asked done each day aswell.

I learned quit alot of interesting things about the Color Theory yesterday. I learned that certian businesses want to portrait a different type of website to their customers. Such as a 1st grade teacher may want to use bright colors while a bank would want to look more official such as basic colors. I find the color theory very useful in using the color theory further.

A appealing color scheme will attract more people to your site. A website will be better if they have colors that 'work' together and are appealing to the eye, this will make people not only comfortable on the website, but it will make them come back. A bad color scheme such as all black and not viberant colors will make a website bad because people will not feel 'at home' will in your site.

What did you learn about file types as you created and designed your travel website? What are some other kinds of file types you know of? What do these different files do? Explain.

I Learned more about PSD & PNG file types for images while using photoshop. I learned that PSD file types can be saved and edited while PNG are a final product. Other file types that i know of are JPEG images, .gif images, and of course the png and psd files. they're other like html files, ziped files. and all sorts. Differnet files work with differnt software and allow you too do certian things with them.

What was your takeaway from this Travel Site? What did you learn that you didn't know before? How will the knowledge of how we built this site help you improve your future websites?

The Travel Site was very fun to create and i learned some things that i did not know in photoshop that were helpful. I think that using photoshop to better your pictures is a very good idea and i am glad that my knowledge in photoshop has been furthered. In the actually website, i enjoyed learing how to use Div Tags and how to set them up. I also enjoyed learning how to set behaviors for the pictures the make them move to other slids. Overall i have enjoyed making this website and hope that we will be able to make somthing alike it agian!

Photos are a big part of a website, good pictures will be appealing to the people that are visiting your site. Photoshop allows you too edit pictures for your headings, sub headings, actual pictures of things and more. More appealing images will draw more people to your site so it would be worth your time to make your website appealing.

Think about how a user (me or anyone else using your site) might function and interact with your site. What are some important functional features to make your website easy to work with? How can you make it easier for the user and not frustrating? Explain why this is so important.

One important part of a website is the ability to actually use it. Without easy navigation people will be confused when browsing your site, making them not wanting to come back. Users would interact with my sight by using the mavigation bar to go between pages, I have also added icons for the letters to not make it confusing. Most people get frustrated with a website because it is either very slow or the user cannot find what they are looking for. In my website, you basically go through the entire thing without leaving either the navigation bar or the subpages, but with a website that has alot more content it would be difficult. Easy functionality makes for happier users and more traffic for your site.

Tell me about your Sweetheart weekend. If you didn't go to Sweetheart, what did you do? I want details! My Weekend was one of the best weekend i think i have ever had, sweetheart was really fun on saturday. I had alot of fun moments with freinds and went to my freinds house afterwards. On Sunday i watched the SuperBowl and all the ads that come with it. It was kinda sucky that the seahawks won by like 38, wished it was a closer game in my opinion. I also got to drive around~!

Tell me about your All About Me site. What are going to be your 4 main content pages? Why did you choose those topics? What big plans do you have for your site that is going to make it different and creative?

My All About Me site is going to contain the four main parts of my life, Sports, Family, Hobbies, and my Bucket List. I choose these pages because i feel that these are the most important aspects of my life. I actually have quite a lot of 'Big Plans' for my website, i am going to incorporate my own graphics i have made from Photoshop. I am also going to have a gradient background and for the four buttons at the top specifying the four main parts, i have created small graphics so it is more appealing. Along the way i am thinking of more things to add and can't wait to finish.

HTML code is actually pretty easy, I've always been interested in coding and since i have been coding for some time now HTML code is really good and easy to use. The coding activity was a really good way to get used to the html that we used and it was really easy. For me it was really a review i have been introduced to HTML code but the basics are a review but the more in-depth things will be new. I can't wait for the remaining time of this class because i really want to get to know advanced HTML.

Tell me about your three day weekend. How was it? What did you do? Elaborate!

Well over my three day weekend all i really did was go and get my learners permit for driving, and hang out with friends. i also got to practice driving and it was a lot of fun. We went to the Bristol afterwards and it was a really good night. On Saturday all slept till like 5 and then just ate something and watched some netflix, then on Sunday i just chilled out!

Tell me if you agree with this statement and then why or why not. "Images on the internet are 'free game' - if someone posted it, I should be able to use it.

Most People post images with no intent of other people actually using them, yet people that make graphics for company and things along that path have rights to the photos they make, much like a music artist with his/her music. Most photos on the internet though are not cited and in my mind 'free game', i see random photos of lets say a waterfall up for grabs for people to use for their own usage. but i can see some restrictions as some photos are just for friends/family to see, but as i see how i use photos right now of the web, i see no problem in images being 'free game'.

What do you know about plagiarism? What do you know about plagiarism on the internet? How do Web Design, the internet and plagiarism all effect each other?

Well basically plagiarism is taking someones work or saying and making it yours, without giving credit to the original person who wrote/said it. This can happen when you are writing an essay and you need facts and you go to someone else's article and use what they have said in your article, thus fore making sound like it's original from you, plagiarism can happen on the internet by coping someones idea and making it look like it's your own, or even game design. Web design, the internet and plagiarism all effect each other in multiple ways. the first being there is billions of things people have said on the internet and if you even try to take someones idea it is plagiarism, there all loads of different ways to plagiarize someones work unless you do the simple thing as to cite your sources!

What do you already know about web design? How it works? Programs you can use? Tools that exist? Anything.

Currently i have a decent amount of knowledge in the web world, this summer i took 3 web design classes and they were very helpful, we used alot of preset code and templates, sadly i can't remember the names of the gadgets, Also this summer my mom works as a CE Web Optimization manager were she goes in and changed web sites for the better, I've used Google AdWord were you can see the amount of traffic that a particular  search topic actually gets from the Google search engine. I'm very keen in Photoshop and how to make computer graphics that could be used in a website, I find that i have a above average amount of knowledge in the computer/Web Design Field and i hope this class furthers it even more.
